Kingdom Animalia; Phylum: Arthropoda (Arthropods) Class: Insects (Insecta) Insects are the oldest animals in the entire world since they have been around for over 400 million years. Their evolution has been very successful throughout the million years. They can be found almost everywhere and most of the times get together in huge numbers.
